When we started our GoFundMe page, we hoped to get some good exposure and maybe a little bit of helpful seed money. We're five days away from the end of the campaign and only at 29% to goal (hint hint... just kidding!), but the attention the page has gotten is the important part. Through sharing on Facebook, our crowd funding campaign was stumbled upon by an editor at Boston Magazine and, as a result, we were interviewed for BostonMagazine.com's Business section! It was such a fun way to announce our launch and gained the attention of a few health/wellness/running writers, plus a lot of views from folks in our area. Not to mention some pretty awesome bragging rights!
